Miguel disfruta mucho su vida en Puerto Rico junto a su amigo Coquí, una simpática ranita típica de ese país. Un día sus padres le anuncian que irán a vivirse a Nueva York y Miguel se entristece mucho por tener que dejar a sus abuelos, su calle y a su amigo Coquí. Sin embargo, aunque al principio la ciudad le resulta abrumadora, pronto descubre muchas cosas que le recuerdan su origen y que mantendrá siempre en su corazón.
 
Miguel really enjoys his life in Puerto Rico with his friend Coquí, a friendly typical frog from that country. One day his parents announce that they are going to live in New York and Miguel is very sad to have to leave his grandparents, his street and his friend Coquí. However, although at first he finds the city overwhelming, he soon discovers many things that remind him of his origin and that he will always keep in his heart.
