Hugo no puede dormir, y no sabe por qué. Para investigar la causa le pregunta a la serpiente, a la gacela, al tigre y al cocodrilo, pero ellos sólo quieren dormir. Cuando amanece, finalmente Hugo se duerme y los demás animales descubren por qué Hugo no puede dormir de noche.
 
Hugo can't sleep, and he doesn't know why. To investigate the cause, he asks the snake, the gazelle, the tiger and the crocodile, but they only want to sleep. When dawn breaks, Hugo finally falls asleep and the other animals find out why Hugo can't sleep at night.
